Yesterday my colleague Claire Stretch and I ran our first-ever Wisdom at Work "Playshop" and I just have to share a bit about the experience.
We knew that the exercises would certainly help the participants tap into their own wisdom, recognise where it comes from, and how to connect and apply their wisdom in lots of different ways.
I don't think we were as prepared for how incredibly powerful the experience was for everyone. To be honest, I was blown away, inspired and in awe for much of the day and it was just one of the most significant days in my life.
Many thanks to everyone who shared their wisdom.
I can't wait until the next one!
If you'd like us to run this truly transformative event in your city, please write to me directly and let's discuss options.
Coaching Exercises
1. Wisdom generating events are those times and situations, either positive or negative, where you've gained immense wise knowledge of yourself, how you operate and of others and how they operate. These are big epiphany moments. What are yours?
2. How have you applied the wisdom that you gained from these experiences?
3. How could you apply your wisdom today and ongoing?
4. What's your "wise nickname"? Mine is "Wise Guy" and Claire's is "Barn Owl" if that helps get the creativity going.
As always, if you need any further personal support in response to any of these coaching exercies, please consider using the askacoach.com service.
All the best,
Noel
