Hello readers!
My plane leaves in an hour for the sunny Gold Coast of Australia for a Writer's Holiday.
What's that, you say?
It's an opportunity for me to get away from all the things I typically do; all the structure; all the organised schedules; and just work on a personal writing project that means a lot to me and which has been neglected for about a year and a half.
I'm writing another book and this one is called The Personal Balanced Scorecard.
So, I'm jetting away to a beautiful resort (which is good because it'll likely be raining on the typically sunny Gold Coast) and I'm going to be inspired by the crashing waves on the beach and well, getting away from it all.
I'll still be writing the blog daily (technology permitting) so I'm not abandoning you.
Here are today's coaching questions:
Coaching Exercises
1. If you were to take a break and "get away from it all" what would you do and where would you go?
2. If you were taking the time to work on a special personal project, what would that project be? (Remember, you can imagine anything!)
3. If it's been awhile since you've rewarded yourself with a break; something you want to do just for yourself, what are the real and/or perceived obstacles in the way? What are at least two solutions for each obstacle?
4. What are you committing to?
As always, if you need any further personal support in response to any of these coaching exercises, please consider using the askacoach.com service.
All the best,
Noel
