The 17th through 23rd of November is National Adoption Awareness week here in Australia.
I'm adopted and I'm very fortunate to have known my biological family all my life while my adopted family raised me. I also hope one day to be able to adopt a child as well. So this topic is something I'm very passionate about and I feel that the work of Orphan Angels fits in well with the "good works" theme for the focus of the blog during this 100 day challenge.
Please check out their site.
Many of us know someone who has been touched by adoption in some way. Today's coaching questions are about that.
Coaching Exercises
1. How have you been touched or impacted by adoption?
2. Do you know the adoption stories of others? How have their stories impacted you?
3. If you could do something to help promote awareness about adoption, including needs, legislation, debates, opportunities etc in your part of the world, what could you do?
4. As a result of these questions and your personal exploration and answers, what are you committing to?
As always, if you need any further personal support in response to any of these coaching exercises, please consider using the askacoach.com service.
All the best,
Noel
