My partner introduced me to a great function on the Internet called Stumble Upon. Essentially, you download the application and when you feel like having the Internet send you sites you're likely to enjoy, you just click on the Stumble Upon button in your browser and based on what you set up in your preferences of website content you want to receive, the application starts forwarding sites to you.
It's so interesting and I've discovered hundreds of sites I really wanted. Granted, I'm not interested in every site it sends me, but overall it's great.
For me, the only downside is how easy it is to get sucked into the "Stumble Upon Vortex" as my partner and I call it. You get so wrapped up reading so many interesting sites that you can forget to get your work done!
That said, I think this is a really cool application and it qualifies for "good work" because it makes it so easy for people to use the internet to find out more information - to raise awareness - about exactly what they want. Brilliant!
