Within
the past few weeks, the International Institute of Coaching
has been very busy revamping the way they present the Coaching world
with live, online Webinars.
One of the many new
changes coming to The IIC's Live Webinar Events will be
the option for anyone within the international
Coaching community to host their very own live online Webinar.
The IIC started accepting requests only very recently and the
responses have been plentiful. There are already over 100
proposed subjects from coaches all over the world!
This
is an entirely new take on giving an International Voice to the
Community. Because of all the new requests from Coaches wishing to host
their own Webinars, The IIC will be offering two
live, online webinars a month! This means even you
could get a chance to share your expertise with the world!
The
application period for proposing your very own Webinar topic is still
active. The IIC is using a very simple 4 question
survey to gather the information.

In 1999 a group of
concerned coaches came together to establish the IIC, originally formed
as the ECI, un-der the leadership of Ben Botes as the original founder
and CEO. Ben was ably supported by Aina Egeberg who was head of Erikson
Coach Training in the UK. The initial focus was on life coaching but
this was quickly changed to embrace all areas of coaching, including Business,
Executive, and Corporate of coach-ing. The current President and Vice President joined in 2002 and
stepped into their leadership roles a year later.
