This is an interesting quote and once that brings to mind the number of things that we are all trying to do.  I was talking to a friend this week and then again to a client this morning and it this quote highlighted the importance of what both of them were talking about.  It is interesting how some people can focus on one thing to the extent that nothing else around them has any importance, while others are distracted by everything else and don't focus on that one thing that needs doing.

So how do we all focus all of our resources on mastering a single area of our lives?  There is no one way in which we can all do this, but if you really think about what you are doing and the excitement of it - maybe you can find the reason why you are so easily distracted.  Focusing on those things that are exciting ... that are motivating ... that really drive you to succeed are those things that you will focus on.  Focusing on the 'chores', the 'paperwork', the 'drudgery' ... these are the sorts of things that will allow you to be distracted.  How can you now make what you have to do exciting and motivating, even if it feels like 'drudgery'?

Be brave - take that one step and focus your own resources on one area of your life that you would like to make a change in.
